Day-by-Day Itinerary
07:30 AM – Departure from Nairobi with a Marula Horizon Safaris representative, heading towards the scenic highlands of Murang’a County.
09:30 AM – Arrival at Gatura Greens Tea Farm, where guests are welcomed with freshly prepared tea and light refreshments while receiving an introduction to the farm and Kenya’s renowned Purple Tea story.
10:00 AM – Guided farm experience through lush tea plantations. Guests participate in tea plucking and gain hands-on insight into the full tea production process, from leaf selection to traditional processing techniques such as roasting, rolling, drying, and packaging.
11:45 AM – Tea tasting session featuring a curated selection of specialty teas produced on the farm, offering a deep appreciation of aroma, flavour, and craftsmanship.
